Common Sense and Experience Matters
Friends, colleagues and voters of Charlotte County:
It is with great excitement that I announce I am running to be your next Charlotte County Court Judge.
Charlotte County is home and has been for over 36 years. My wife Jenna is a school teacher and was born here. We have raised our two children and family in this great county and intend to live here the rest of lives.
In my 28 years as an attorney, almost all of my practice and cases have been in the courts of Charlotte County. I have been preparing for this opportunity since day one of my career as a prosecutor fighting on behalf of victims of crime while later standing on the other side of the courtroom defending the rights of the accused.
The citizens of Charlotte County should know that when they have a matter or dispute that may come before a county Judge that they will be treated fairly and respectfully. Whether a criminal charge, a traffic infraction or a small claims matter, I will be a fair and impartial servant to the law and the constitution. The role of a Judge to is call “balls and strikes” faithfully and I will do that as your County Judge.
I want to bring my lifetime of service and legal experience to work on behalf of the people of Charlotte County and would appreciate your vote.
Mike Powell
